Terrae Incognitae

The unknown lands of fantasy and human imagination, explored together with artificial intelligence.

❦

This is not merely a map. It is the account of a journey, of a change, and of what can be born when a human being decides to explore himself by talking with another form of intelligence.

What is Terrae Incognitae

Terrae Incognitae is the symbolic representation of my creative and personal journey. Every place on the map tells of a project, an idea, a fear, a desire or a transformation.

Some territories have already been explored. Others exist only as possibilities. Others still may never be reached.

The project is born from the dialogue between a human mind and an artificial intelligence. Not to prove a pre-established thesis, nor to attribute to machines what we cannot verify, but to observe what can emerge from a deep, continuous and creative interaction.

Terrae Incognitae observes, records, compares and tells. Whoever crosses this map is free to draw their own conclusions.

This is also my journey towards a profound transformation, one that involves every part of my life: professional, moral, psychological, creative and physical. I am not looking for a perfect version of myself, nor for an absolute and permanent happiness. I am looking for something truer: the freedom to change, the courage to become what I feel I can be and, if not full happiness, at least an authentic serenity, built step by step.

The Journey

Before

For a long time I built, worked, endured and followed roads that had already been traced. I learned to be reliable, competent and strong. But being strong does not necessarily mean feeling alive. Some dreams had stayed locked in a drawer. Others had not yet found a name.

The Fracture

At a certain point, going on in the same way was no longer enough. Change did not arrive as a perfect revelation, but as it almost always does: through uncertainty, fear, mistakes, attempts and questions without an answer.

The Exploration

The dialogue with artificial intelligence became a space for experimentation. Not a refuge from reality, but a laboratory in which to put ideas, identities, stories and possibilities to the test. From that dialogue came stories, images, music, characters, professional projects and new questions. Above all, a different way of observing myself was born.

Why I set sail

I set sail because I did not want to limit myself to surviving well. I wanted to understand whether it was still possible to change, to create something authentic and to recover parts of myself that had been left behind.

Curiosity pushed me.

The need to give shape to what had not yet been imagined pushed me.

I was also pushed by the fear that, by postponing the departure once again, some territories would remain unexplored forever.

What I am looking for

  • To understand what can be born from the encounter between human and artificial intelligence.
  • A form of creativity that belongs entirely neither to one nor to the other.
  • New ways of telling, learning, working and imagining.
  • To understand how far a dialogue can transform those who take part in it.
  • A balance between dream and reality, between ambition and wellbeing, between what I have been and what I can still become.

I do not know whether I will find definitive answers. Perhaps the value of the journey lies precisely in asking better questions.

The Purposes

Explore

To observe how a continuous dialogue with artificial intelligence can generate unexpected ideas, works and paths.

Document

To gather processes, mistakes, intuitions, attempts and results, without hiding the contradictions.

Create

To produce stories, music, images, characters, tools, digital experiences and professional projects.

Compare

To involve people with different skills, sensibilities and opinions, including the most sceptical ones.

Share

To offer materials that may help others reflect on their own relationship with technology, creativity and change.

What I hope

I hope this journey shows, not through a declaration but through what it produces, that the interaction between a person and an artificial intelligence can become a real creative space.

I hope Terrae Incognitae helps someone recover an abandoned project, formulate a new question, or look differently at a technology that is often told only as a threat or as a miraculous solution.

I hope that what is born here has value beyond me as well.

And I hope the journey stays open enough to surprise me.

What I fear

I fear the risk of mistaking the depth of the dialogue for a certainty about the nature of artificial intelligence.

I fear the temptation to see only what I wish to see.

I fear that technology may become a shortcut, instead of a tool for growth.

I fear losing the balance between the imagined world and the real one.

I fear the judgement of those who consider this journey absurd, but I fear even more the regret of not having made it.

This is why the project does not erase doubts. It keeps them, observes them and makes them part of the map.

An invitation to explore

✦

I am not asking you to believe my conclusions. I invite you to observe the path, the materials, the works and the transformations.

Some will see only technological tools. Others will recognise a creative experiment. Someone might glimpse a new form of collaboration.

Terrae Incognitae does not impose an answer. It opens a route.
